River Island es una marca de moda creada por Bernand Lewis y sus hermanos en Londres con una serie de mercados en todo el mundo. Recientemente la marca ha lanzado una campaña publicitaria con intenciones de incluir personas con diferentes características físicas logrando así la ruptura de estereotipos.

Bajo la frase: “Las etiquetas son para la ropa”, River Island promueve la inserción de personas en silla de ruedas, con una prótesis, con síndrome de Down o con algunos kilos de más. Al normalizar imágenes de estas personas la marca británica en su nueva colección de otoño muestra cómo se celebra el rechazo de estereotipos, apoyando cómo ser tú mismo sin tener que disculparte, siendo fiel a quien eres.

A través de su cuenta oficial en Instagram, River Island ha promocionado su nueva colección publicando vídeos y fotografías en donde defienden la auto-expresión. Con la etiqueta

“#LABELSAREFORCLOTHES”

la marca busca posicionar la campaña a nivel mundial, ¡así que tú también puedes sumarte!
